Person Centered Care – It Begins with Us

Acclaimed author, inspirational speaker, nationally known health care advisor, and now President & CEO of Stratum Health System and Tidewell Hospice, Jonathan Fleece, will lead the audience through a transformational journey focused on one of the most critical prerequisites to providing person centered care—our own wellbeing.  Jonathan will help conference attendees learn how they can elevate themselves and their organizations to providing a higher level of person-centered healthcare—one that offers patients and their loved ones with comfort, peace, and dignity during life’s most intimate and vulnerable experiences.

Jonathan will share a gripping story of his calling to serve the hospice mission and how focusing on our own wellbeing and self-care is a foundational component to providing empathetic, compassionate, mindful and high-quality patient care.  Lose yourself during his keynote and enjoy striking photographic images and motivational phrases of reflections centered on becoming a healthier MIND, BODY and SOUL.  Jonathan will also guide the audience through an opportunity to create their own reflections, that is sure to empower people for days and months to come.

As a CEO, he will also focus on the importance of creating support for colleagues in the workplace.  Self-care is not the sole responsibility of the individual.  As a new leader of one of the largest not-for-profit hospice organizations in the nation, Jonathan will share how his organization is focusing on organizational changes to create a more nurturing and supportive workplace environment for colleagues.
